<p>These questions seek to ensure that the number of people listed is effectively the total number of habitual residents in the housing unit, with the purpose of avoiding the respondent forgetting to mention any of them, especially children, babies, and elderly people.</p>
<p>It is important that you apply the three questions correctly, as counting all people is one of the central objectives of the Census.</p>

<br />This question identifies the person residing in the housing unit who is the owner or proprietor.</p>
<p>Read the question, record the name provided, and copy from Section II. List of people and general information on the corresponding number.</p>
